Supporting our Community
The Town of Ringle has experienced an incredible outpouring of community support following the April 17, 2026, tornado. Donations of essential items—such as clothing, toiletries, and food—along with monetary contributions to the United Way of Marathon County and the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin, continue to come in.
At this time, the most heavily impacted neighborhoods in Ringle remain accessible only to residents, contractors, and emergency personnel. As a result, volunteer-led cleanup efforts are limited to none.
The bank’s executive team met to discuss how we can make a meaningful and direct impact for homeowners and business owners who were displaced or otherwise affected by the storm. As part of this effort, Bank of Wisconsin will offer a 0% APR unsecured loan for six (6) months to Ringle residents who were directly impacted by the tornado (please see the flyer below for details).
We have also established the “Ringle Disaster Relief” account for any community members or neighbors who wish to make a monetary donation. Bank of Wisconsin will absorb all processing costs so that 100% of donations go directly to those impacted.
Thank you to everyone who shared ideas and for supporting this approach. Our commitment to the communities we serve is unwavering, and moments like these truly embody our Bank of Wisconsin tagline: “Where Communities Move Forward.”
