Bank uses the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. Minimum balance of $0.01 required to obtain APY. This method applies a daily rate to the principal in the account each day. Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of non-cash items (i.e. checks). This is a variable rate account. The variable rate may change after account opening and is subject to change weekly. Interest, along with the current principal balance in the account, will be paid annually by mailed check or deposited into another Bank of Wisconsin account on or about October 15. Interest is not compounded. A substantial penalty of forfeiture of all accrued interest for withdrawal prior to the interest payment date of or about October 15, may apply.
